Serves Chinese food, priced slightly to the high end, but what can I say, it's Hilton, definitely understandable. Very nice ambience, accompanied by interesting art around, definitely a nice comfortable place to be at on a Sunday afternoon.
Not many customers on this particular day, but that's what made me liked it even more, better service!
During lunch hours, dim sum dishes are on offer as well as other Chinese dishes.
Beautifully placed table setting.
Loved the fresh garlic and cut chillies offered here, not leaving out the boiled Chinese peanuts, one of my favourite Chinese starters. Too bad it was served cold..
A close up shot of the peanuts, don't they look good, how it glistens under the sunlight.. YUMS!
We tried a variety of dishes, from salmon yee sang (medium), which was so fresh and lovely, filled with multitudes of peanuts and sesame seeds and a whole lot of other goodness, it was indeed, one of the best yee sang I have tried in Kuching so far. So go on, LOU HEI (TOSS away)!
Next up, dim sum time, from spring roll with whole shrimp and assorted meat (Rm 7.00), which was a can't fail pleasure, although I did wish for it to have some form of tangy refreshing sauce.
To pan fried radish cake (Rm 6.00).. Don't let the appearance fool you as it fooled me. Although it looks a bit dry, it definitely isn't. Although so simple, its very satisfying, soft on the inside and filled with tasty goodness.
And steamed fluffy barbecue chicken buns (Rm 6.00), good but not great, think I still before BBQ pork buns!
Steamed chicken feet with spicy sauce (Rm 6.00), stewed to perfection, soft and tender...with a good balance of sweet and salty flavours.
Crystal prawn dumpling with black caviar (Rm 8.00), juicy filling although I was in deep search for the black caviar, found red ones instead!
Chinese dishes time.. first up longevity noodles... loved the texture of the noodles, springy and nice. Flavours were beautifully combined.
Healthy dose of stir fry vegetables, the well fried garlic cloves on top was a nice touch, giving this rather simple dish the extra oopmh!

Verdict: Loved the food and ambience here although a bit steeply priced, would only be visiting for special occasions or just for a break from the usual cafe/kopitiam food unless I have spare cash sitting around. Oh, and its HALAL too.
