Another promising coffee shop in the Bormil Estate area, serving both Chinese and Western Cuisine at decent prices. Since I'm more of an Asian fan, I stuck to my Chinese roots and did not place orders for a western meal, but feel free to give them a try, seems pretty good!
The Menu, very colorful on the outside, relatively short and sweet on the inside.. !
Not leaving out a blackboard menu..
Now, lets get down to business. One definitely can't go wrong with nasi lemak at this place, tasty and fatty, with runny egg yolks, plus a generous serving of curry sauce, in my opinion, only one word for it 'delicious'.
Fried Tanghoon (RM 6), simple but very delish indeed, they are definitely not stingy with their ingredients (with purple cabbage present)!
Tried their ayam masak merah, not exactly my favourite.. most chicken pieces were more Boney rather than meaty.. having said that, my mum complained about it, and they happily switched it to more meaty pieces.. However, still lacking in flavour. Giving points for great service though!
Cantonese style kuey tiaw.. its OK, in my opinion, could have added a tinge more salt.. However, I think my taste buds were slightly skewed since the nasi lemak and fried tanghoon were bursting with flavours.
For a coffee shop, the surrounding is not too bad, well ventilated.. and spacious
Another plus point, loved how patrons can have a peek through the glass windows and see what's going on in the kitchen..

Verdict: Not bad at all. Would return for more.. think I will stick to the fried stuff though.. eg fried tang hoon/beehoon/kuey tiaw etc. Other than that, happy eating!
