I was impressed with the food the first time I brought my parents there. Excited. I shared the many good things about Silver Spoon and brought my sis all the way there, only to be utterly disappointed.

Caesar Salad (RM 16.90++)

The croutons was so hard, I guess being exposed outside for too long. No kidding.  The dressing was way too salty.  My previous visit, which was two months ago was fine. This, was a killer.

Oriental Duck Pizza (RM29++)

Classic pizza base with hoisin spread, smoked duck, onion rings & fresh pear

Was in love with this pizza in my last visit, made it to my must-order list. The pizza would be perfect if the level of saltiness can be adjusted well.

Beef Rib Eye (RM60++)

Served with truffle scented mash, grilled asparagus riled with smoked beef bacon & Port Wine Sauce

Despite ordered it medium well, it was overcooked. I admit I am not pro when it comes to steak but I know my steak wasn't done right. It was dry and that  slab of meat, will not be able to justify for the RM60 that was paid for it.

Verdict:

Atrocious.  Utterly disappointed. I can only remember that all of the dishes that we ordered were salty. Service was not up to par, as we had difficulty asking for help from the waiters/waitresses as they were not seen anywhere most of the time.

To be honest, the food was not cheap and I'm just disappointed with the entire experience that I had. 

Well, they have lost a customer and frankly, it will be hard to win me back. Give it another few years, perhaps I will forget about the bad food experience and pay another visit.

Closing Note:

I know this post might defeat the purpose on why this blog was up initially. Again, why would I spend the time and effort writing on this?. As much as I love to share on good food,  I would like to share if the place is really worth the money and calories.
