This hotel is the epitome of absolute 'grandness' (is that even a word?). and I am not kidding. This hotel won the 2012 gourmet traveller travel award- best large luxury hotel..
Upon walking in, I just kept saying "wow"..behold the hotel lobby...
Look at the lights.. It's like MASSIVE.. must have cost a lot.
The rooms are huge as well.. but firstly, the long corridor, with surrounding mirrors .. perfect for girls.. good for cam whoring.. modelling.. or just checking yourself out..
Absolutely fell in love with this bed. It's big, comfy... I can potentially hibernate here for months.. its really comfort at the highest level!
The pillows were of the utmost quality as well.. plenty of extras.. no fighting with other siblings.
Loved how they were so detail.. they even gave us fruits.. and magazines .. (note: I am quite easily satisfied).
The room is just so comfortable. It's like yes, Yes and YES!
And boy, I love the scenery.. gorgeous view of Melbourne City.
And the most important thing. The toilets!! There's like two different sections in there. one for both big and small business, one to shower.
Two Sinks..
and LOVE the tub.. can just sit in there for hours while watching TV.
Now, forgive me as I enjoy my glass of wine.
This is my first time reviewing a hotel, so forgive me if I am not up to standard.. drop me a few comments.. and I promise I will improve!
Another thing I should mention is that this place has a gigantic casino .. for those who love to gamble.. this would be your equivalent of Heaven.. besides, this place has all the fine dining, high rollers eatery outlets such as Mr. Hives, The Atlantic, Giullame Bistro and more!
And the hotel is situated next to the yarra river.. so you can enjoy the lovely river and city view.. to me, this is the best hotel in Melbourne CBD.. so, make sure to bring the 3 C's.. your cash, credit cards, cheque books etc.
Note: I stayed in the Deluxe King room, cost from AUD 299 and above..
